Julie Southworth is a disabled poet, writer, and blogger living in Berkeley, CA. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in SFWP Quarterly, Forum, Milvia Street, and Colossus:Home. Julie works as a writing coach at Berkeley City College and is pursuing a Certificate in Writing from UC Berkeley Extension. A Center for Cultural Innovation grant recipient, she writes to illuminate her chronic illnesses—depression, fibromyalgia, epilepsy—and life.
