General Technical Information

When you use Shuffle, we or some of the services we use on the site, may collect some general technical information. This is anonymous in nature and does not identify you as an individual. This is collected through the use of cookies, tokens or pixels and maybe stored in log files. They typically record certain information such as your computer IP address, mobile device, browser type, ISP or carrier name, and the URL of the last webpage you visited before visiting our website. When you log on to your account, we will record your computer IP address, and may tie it to your specific account. Under ordinary circumstances, an IP address recorded in isolation is not PII under the standard definition of the term. However, it may become PII when it is combined with other information, as in this case.

Your Communication With Us

When you communicate with us (via email, phone, through the Shuffle website, or otherwise), we may maintain a record of your communication.

Using your information

Shuffle connects you with others who share the same interest as you, and as such, the PII or the information that we collect from and about you to enable us to do that. We may also use PII for the following purposes: (a) to verify your identity while logging in; (b) to help you locate other users with similar interests and expertise; and (c) to otherwise perform functions associated with our service. Any information that we gather about how you might (or might not) be using certain functionalities helps us improve our service and features. We use General Technical Information to gain insights on how our users use our site in order to further enhance our service, as well as to help debug incase of reported issues. Finally, a word on emails. We send two kinds of emails - administrative/transactional and informational. The former includes information related to your account, and cannot be turned off. The latter includes newsletters, notifications, and updates about the service. You may stop receiving emails from us by letting us know or clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

Data & Third Parties

Shuffle does not make money from selling advertising on the site, serving ads to you, or selling information about our users to third parties, including advertisers, data brokers, search engines, or anyone else. We may share some of your information, including personal information, with third parties under limited circumstances: a) If you tell us that is okay to do so. b) If we use a third party service to provide some some functionality, for which transfer of data might be required. If you believe your email is compromised or do not have access to it anymore, please contact us.
